Kolkata, India
Rahul Das grew up along the banks of the Hooghly River in Kolkata, and the landscapes of Bengal permeate every work he makes. His paintings move between sweeping panoramas and intimate detail, always returning to the idea of memory embedded in place. He holds an MFA from Santiniketan.
